I hear the thunder banging against the walls of my house, alive sending shock ways to my body as it gets closer. The sound of the rain pelting against the glass reminds me how how close winter is, alerting us to the cold temperatures and uncontrollable heat that awaits us. That's the australian winter for you now. A plane goes over my house and i think that in three months i'll be on one travelling to England and Ireland to see my family, friends and just the feeling of being home in London. It's hard to explain, since i was 12 I've loved the country almost as if i've lived there my whole life. My father is from there, my family lives there and being that i'm close to them it could be a factor why i want to live there are well. Maybe because i have never had family live near me growing up and knowing they are all there and see each other constantly; it would be nice to know what that's like i guess.
Pain shoots through my body as i move, playing goalie yesterday in Soccer (football to the europeans) was not something i was able to do well. The feeling of passing out and falling to the ground hit me every time i ran on the field. Being goalie seemed to be the only way i could still play. I could do good kicks that got half way but apart from that catching and everything else I suck at. Never will i want to do that again if i can help it.
I should be in class right now but my knee looks like it's own soccer ball (yes excaudate a bit, i don't think it's possible to get THAT big) nether the less the pain is still strong it's stopping me from even getting to some food to eat. I'm stuck. I am able to work on some assignments though and get tomorrows out of the way.
Spirit Bound comes out tomorrow and I'm jumping for joy at finally being able to sink my teeth into such an amazing series i'm sure it's only going to get better. I'm trying to get into Burned the house of night novel but it's slow going i think i'm going to have to place it aside while i tune into VA and get that out of my system. I'm getting Chanel a copy and Shion the first book to get her into it, maybe even the second i'll be checking the prices.
Friday shall be bringing me up to Newcastle with Shion while i help celebrate her 19th which is on the sunday. Can't wait after all the times she has been down to Sydney with me it's about time i make the trip up to see her :)
