There are some really wonderful people out in the world. I only wish i go this guys name. I thought today was going to be like any other, plans with meeting Shion in the city, go shopping and take some photos. We did all that but it was breakfast that surprised me, warmed my heart and left me with a happy feeling all day.
Breakfast: 9:30 am.
Having battled the cold in 3/4 top and jacket waiting for Shion to arrive from her newcastle to central train I went to Gloria Jeans for a large hot chocolate in order to warm my insides. Then we went next door just to see what they have for breakfast. I can't remember the name of the place but i know i'll be going back there soon.
"What is that?" the guy asked me behind the counter, it took me at least 5 seconds to realise he was talking about my drink
"Hot chocolate" was the only response i had for him
We chattered some more and I had to admit it was fun bickering why i had gloria jeans and not their's
"It's tall" with a smile on my face and admitting to having a somewhat childish voice to match gaining a smile from him
So he ended up telling us we had to try the hot chocolate he also said on the house. I didn't expect I'd be getting one as he told Shion to get one and for me to try it. So that's how i ended up with two hot chocolates and a ham and cheese croissant for breakfast - how I was full after all that.
Asking for the verdict before we left was the last time i spoke to him, so I hope i'll see him again there, i know i'll be going back possibly friday when I'm with my girls
