I don't know if news has reached worldwide like it did back when Black Saturday happened for us Aussies in Australia, but right of now there are 10 confirmed dead, 59 still missing, 15 out of the 59 feared dead and over 9000 homes damaged throughout Brisbane in Australia. Earlier today the river running by the city flooded and with more rain to come over the next few days, this is not the worst of it.
My heart goes out to all the family affected, especially because I do have family that live out there and know that moment of panic when you don't know if they are ok or not. Thankfully mine are all fine. My other relatives haven't seen to have been hit yet by the floods, but the way it's going who's to say they won't.
I hope the rain will stop soon, so families can evaluate the damage and move forward from this devastating disaster.
On a happier note to try and cheer this post up. On Friday I head up to Newcastle for New Beginnings festival. I'm really looking forward to it, getting to spend it with one of my best friends Shion.
Though with all the boy candy there I'm going to be so lonely. Shion's boyfriend is a member of one of the actual bands playing! I'll be so jealous of the two of them while I'll prob be messaging him, telling him how I miss him, drunk off my face or something like that.
I might see him tomorrow but that will be the last day (or it was today, which was an amazing morning I do say) till next week. I'll be really happy to see him when I get back but that won't stop me missing him. I've got to stay away from the internet that way I don't know what his doing and all the girls that keep sending him messages that wake us up.
no not jealous at all pfft. We still have to use the gold class tickets up. We were talking about seeing Tron since he never got to see it with Jake.
